Staying healthy should always be a priority and we have a few tips for you to help with your healthy lifestyle choices. How many do you already do? Which ones will you try this year? Let’s go!!!

Staying Healthy Tip#1: Eat Right

Eating a healthy and well-balanced diet works wonders for your body! Eat your vegetables and limit high-sugary and processed foods. Also, by nourishing your body right, you also boast your immune system!

Staying Healthy Tip#2: Exercise

Oh yes, good old-fashioned exercise. Another way to keep fit is to exercise. Even a brisk walk for 30 minutes a day helps if you can’t make it to the gym.

Staying Healthy Tip#3: Wash Your Hands

Another way to keep healthy is to wash your hands. This also helps with stopping the spread of germs when we keep good hygiene habits. Make sure to use soap and lather well.

Staying Healthy Tip#4: Vitamin C

Everyone knows that vitamin C is a great boaster for your immune system. Try incorporating natural vitamin C (oranges, peppers) into your diet to keep your system in top-notch shape!

Staying Healthy Tip#5: Clean

This may come as an obvious tip, but keeping your home clean helps kill lurking germs around. Be sure to use disinfectant and clean those often forgotten places like doorknobs!

Staying Healthy Tip#6: Elbow Sneezing

If you happen to have a cold, it is always best to cover your mouth while you sneeze but not with your hand! If you do, you may pass on germs by touching other things after sneezing. We highly suggest sneezing into your elbow when you have the urge to sneeze.

Staying Healthy Tip#7: Water

Always stay well-hydrated. Drink plenty of water every day and set an example for your little ones. Water helps your body process food as well as many other functions. Drinking water also flushes out toxins and we definitely don’t want toxins in our bodies.

Staying Healthy Tip#8: Sleep

A great way to stay healthy is to get enough sleep every night. Sleeping helps the body recover and rejuvenate, so please remember to sleep well. Children also need adequate sleep too, so keep a good sleeping schedule they can stick to!
