Thanksgiving is a holiday celebrated in Canada (in October of every year) and in the USA (inNovember). Traditionally, it was a celebration of the fall harvest. Today, it serves as a reminder to give thanks for everything that we have. It really is a wonderful holiday and what better way to celebrate than to make yummy fall harvest treats!   

This year, try your hand at some of these easy-peasy treats that take very littleprep time, but pack a punch in taste!   

Thanksgiving Apples 

This is a super easy tasty treat to warm up your senses! Toss together four peeledand sliced apples, half a cup of light brown sugar, a teaspoon of ground cinnamon and quarter teaspoon of nutmeg. Then cook the mixture with two tablespoons of water and one tablespoon of butter over medium heat on the stove. Cook for about 8 to 10 minutes or until the apple slices are tender. Serve with vanilla ice-cream!   

Thanksgiving Pumpkin Latte 

We love a good pumpkin spice latte and to share in the joy with the kids, here’s atwist to this iconic drink! Take four cups of unsweetened vanilla almond milk, one cup of pumpkin puree, three tablespoons of brown sugar, one teaspoon of vanilla extract and half a teaspoon of cinnamon. Heat the almond milk first over a medium heat. Then, add the rest until fully incorporated. Serve and enjoy!    

Thanksgiving Honey Butter Popcorn 

This is a tasty treat when you’re feeling like something sweet but not too sweet.First, heat up some butter and honey in a saucepan over medium heat. Then, make a bag of microwaveable popcorn. Finally, drizzle the melted honey butter mixture over the popcorn and enjoy!
